SCM Subcontracts Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an SCM Subcontracts Administrator to join our team in Mawson Lakes.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing duties associated with quoting, negotiation, selection, awarding and purchase order placement of major subcontract produce/suppliers with parts/service.

In addition, you will:

  • Prepare Firm-Fixed Price, Not-to-Exceed and Rough Order of Magnitude pricing for the Commonwealth.
  • Ensure the governance of large companies and solidify agreements tied to Scopes of Work (SOW) and head contract.
  • Administer all supplier export and import requirements, including, as required, customs clearance (either directly or via a third party service provider).
  • Ability to interpret and negotiate Terms and Conditions with supply base consulting with legal counsel, as required.
  • Evaluate/award quotations received from suppliers, ensuring corporate requirements are satisfied.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • A Degree either in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management is preferable, but relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Demonstrated solid experience in procurement.
  • Strong and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read or learn technical drawings.
  • Experience within the defence or manufacturing industry is preferred, but not essential.

To be successful for this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance. Please note applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check for this role.
