General Dynamics Land Systems demonstrates Armoured Fighting Capability at Land Forces 2018

Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide

General Dynamics Land Systems will showcase the strength of its broad portfolio of Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) products and services at this year’s Land Forces Conference held at the Adelaide Convention Centre (Stand 1R21, Hall 1), South Australia from 4-6 September 2018.

At the show, the company will reveal additional information on its AJAX-based solution for the Commonwealth of Australia’s LAND 400 Phase 3 program, including publicly unveiling a production “Fitters” vehicle – just one of the existing variants of the AJAX Family of AFVs relevant to this important Commonwealth program. This platform will demonstrate how the existing AJAX Family of AFVs, already developed and tested in the UK, meets the LAND 400 Phase 3 Mounted Close Combat Capability requirement.

In addition, General Dynamics Land Systems will outline the very latest on the Abrams Main Battle Tank, which is unrivaled in the world. The most advanced main battle tank on the market, Abrams provides soldiers with a proven and decisive edge on the battlefield by combining speed, heavy protective armour and a fearsome 120mm main gun. The Australian Army currently operates the M1A1 Abrams variant, which it is looking to upgrade to the General Dynamics Land Systems M1A2 standard under LAND 907-2.

Please visit the General Dynamics Land Systems stand at Land Forces 2018, which can be found in Hall 1 (1R21).
